RESIDENCY GOALS:

In the words of Chloe…

“I would love to use La Moissie as a space where I can fully commit to finishing the book I am writing. A place to write, rewrite, read and rest. Time to get back into the routine of writing. A world where writing, reading and communicating is the only thing that matters. The book I am writing ‘Hola, Stranger’ is still taking shape and needs time and responsibility. Nurturing. The life I have hasn’t been able to provide any kind of nurturing and I know La Moissie will do exactly so.

Ideally, I’d be able to take another stab at the feature script I’m working on, but one thing at a time. I’m just excited to get away from the frenetic feel of my life and commit to just this special project at this special place – really get to write and read and sleep and eat surrounded by other artists that are doing exactly so. To take time and space to dedicate to something special in such a place would be a dream come true. ”  Chloe Wallace, January 2023
