ARTIST’S PROFILE

Andrea Jimenez (Madrid, 1987) Director, playwright, performer and producer, Andrea is founder and co-artistic director of the company Teatro En Vilo, winner of the 2019 Ojo Crítico Theater Award. Graduated in Law and postgraduated in Performing Arts from the London International School of Performing Arts, she has worked as director and playwright with renowned companies in Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Since 2012, Andrea has created and directed numerous theater shows for important institutions such as the National Dramatic Center, the National Theater of Catalonia, the Dos de Mayo Art Center (CA2M) or the Galician Dramatic Center and her work has been seen in Spanish and European theaters and festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the BE Festival, the Autumn Festival, the Teatros del Canal, or the Conde Duque Cultural Center, among others.
